RoyaLe (RL)

RoyaLe was flend & ShroomArts's entry in the 2015 7DRL competition.

What started as a roguelike inspired by Desktop Dungeons was reduced down to its core gameplay - an arena shooter! Pick a class, pick up a big gun and let rip!

Features

• Full colour, multi-layer graphics and a graphical UI
• 3 different classes and plenty of guns
• Explosions and acid
• A boss fight
• Pick your challenge (and difficulty) as you play
• Choose to spend your XP on healing or levels - levelling before a level change affects the difficulty of your next encounter
• Aim to end the game with as many levels and as much XP as possible

This is a post-7DRL fix version. Some minor bugs and UI annoyances are fixed - but there are no significant changes to gameplay or new features. You probably want to play this for the mostly-authentic 7DRL experience!

Tip: If your gun doesn't seem to work or you can't throw, you're probably trying to fire / throw too far and are out of range
